Maylene & The Sons of Disaster tour with A Static Lullaby for fall dates
Southern metal band Maylene and the Sons of Disaster will launch an extensive 45-date tour of the U.S. this fall with A Static Lullaby (ASL) providing the main support. The fall trek kicks off September 26 at the New Daisy Theatre in Memphis, TN, and continues through November 15 at BottleTree in Birmingham, AL.
The late fall journey will take the bands on a coast-to-coast circuit with Showbread, Confide and Attack Attack!, the other supporting acts on Maylene’s billing. Highlights include an October 14 gig at Subterranean in Chicago, IL, and an October 29 performance at Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA.
Fronted by ex-Underoath singer Dallas Taylor, Maylene is touring in support of their second studio album, “II,” which was officially released in March 2007, despite being leaked online more than a month earlier. The album debuted at No. 156 on the Billboard 200, the band’s first appearance on the charts.
The California-based ASL is touring in support of its fourth studio album, “Rattlesnake!” which hit shelves September 9. The group debuted in 2002 with the debut EP “Withered,” featuring four tracks that were later re-recorder and placed on the group’s first full-length record, 2003’s “…And Don’t Forget to Breath.”
