Katy Perry had a summer hit with her irreverent pop single “I Kissed A Girl.” Now fans of the singer have a few new opportunities to see her in the U.S. — as well as a few chances to catch her overseas. Perry is set to appear at the KISS 95. 1 Gravediggers Ball on October 25 at Dixie’s Tavern in Charlotte, NC, and at Phooson 2008 on December 5 at Cricket Wireless Pavilion in Phoenix, AZ. The up-and-coming pop star also has three separate “Jingle Ball” performances slated for the holiday season: December 3 at Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA, December 11 at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA, and December 12 at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ. Her tour itinerary is then blank for the rest of the year, but she’ll be at it again in the New Year with four European shows slated so far, beginning with a February 23 show at Lille Vega in Copenhagen, DEN, and currently ending with a March 2 show at Elysee Montmartre in Paris, FRA.

Iconic crooner Lionel Richie recently added an 11-date tour of the UK and Ireland to his 2009 itinerary. The trek begins March 20 at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, and wraps April 16 at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. Highlights on Richie’s tour include an April 4 gig at the O2 Arena in London, and a single stop in Ireland on April 13 for a show at the O2 in Dublin. The performer currently has four shows in South Africa on the books for the rest of 2008. Those shows begin November 22 at Sahara Park in Cape Town and wrap with a November 27-28 run at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg, following a November 25 set at ABSA Stadium in Durban.

The Wailers will be charting a tour across the U.S. following an appearance at the CMA Awards on November 12 in Nashville, TN. The holiday shows run December 26-28 at The Stone Pony with a different lineup each night of the residency, including a set by the Gaslight Anthem, among others. Before the holiday shows, the Bouncing Souls will perform a few late October, early November shows around the country, including an October 29 gig at Black Cat in Washington, DC, a Halloween show at The Venue in Gainesville, FL, and a November 7 performance at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA.

The Stylistics will soon kick off an extensive tour of the UK and Japan that is set to take them through the end of the year. The Philadelphia-based ’70s soul group is set to begin the run on October 24 at Winter Gardens in Margate, UK, and wrap November 30 at Worthing Assembly Hall in Worthing, UK. More than 20 shows are set for the UK, including a November 25 show at IndigO2 in London, and a November 28 show at Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool.
