Veteran rocker Chris Cornell will extend his spring touring plans to the West Coast with a new 10-date addition. The trek continues on April 21 with a concert at Pop’s in St. Louis, MO, and completes its coast-to-coast run with a May 3 show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA.
Other recently announced gig stops include an April 24 concert at Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO, an April 27 performance at Showbox SoDo in Seattle, WA, and a May 1 set at the Grand Ballroom at Regency Center in San Francisco, CA.
A limited presale for the new dates will begin Wednesday, February 25, at 10 a.m. (ET) for fans registered on Cornell’s Web site, with tickets offered on a first come, first served basis. Public onsales follow on Friday, February 27.
The first leg of the spring tour begins March 27 at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin, TX. In all, the tour will hit more than 25 cities across the country, plus a single performance north of the border on April 28 at Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC.
Cornell is touring in support of his upcoming solo record “Scream,” which is set to hit stores nationwide on March 10. It is the third solo release for the singer-songwriter, who has had a 20-year career in bands such as Soundgarden and Audioslave in addition to his recent solo work.
