Hole tour extends ‘Nobody’s Daughter’ dates through summer
Love her or hate her, Courtney Love is back and launching yet another leg of 2010 tour dates with the new lineup of her iconic alt-rock band Hole.
Her summer run on the North American tour trail begins June 22 at Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA, after a couple concerts earlier in the month on June 3 at 4th & B in San Diego, CA, and June 6 at the radio-sponsored event BFD 2010 in Mountain View, CA. Including those early gigs, Hole has 20 performances booked through July 16 at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN.
Other highlights include gigs on June 23 at the House of Blues in Boston, MA; July 2 at The Fillmore in Miami Beach, FL; and July 14-15 at the Vic Theatre in Chicago, IL. Canadian audiences can catch Love north of the border on July 9 at Ottawa Bluesfest in Ottawa, ON, and July 10 at Sound Academy in Toronto, ON.
Public ticket sales begin May 8 for most of Hole’s scheduled July events. Tickets are already on sale for the summer tour’s earlier U.S. concert dates. More details are available on Hole’s official Web site.
Face values for most general admission tickets are set around the $35 mark, with reserved tickets priced at $50 in select markets, according to current listings on Ticketmaster.com.
Love, backed by new musicians, returned to the U.S. concert circuit with a handful of early spring 2010 concerts, which included some showcase sets at South By Southwest (SXSW) and a pair of two-night stands in Los Angeles and New York City.
The tour is promoting “Nobody’s Daughter,” the first album released under the Hole moniker since 1998.
