Van Morrison will take on the latest in a series of brief North American treks this year when he hits five West Coast cities in early October. The jaunt begins October 3 at The Joint in Las Vegas, NV.
From there on out, the famed singer-songwriter will hit a series of California cities, playing October 5 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, October 6 at the Civic Theatre in San Diego, October 8 at Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco, CA; and October 9 at the Bowl in Santa Barbara.
Public ticket sales for the West Coast concert spree will open over the August 13-15 weekend. Details about specific onsale dates for each concert are available on Ticketmaster.com.
As usual, Morrison ducats won’t be cheap. Tickets begin at just $45 in Santa Barbara, but most other markets on the tour have low-end tickets priced closer to the $70-80 range. As with most Morrison concerts, face values reach upwards of $350 in several markets on the October outing.
Morrison recently finished an early August trek through the Pacific Northwest. The brief circuit began August 4 with a performance at the Edmonton Folk festival in Edmonton, AB, and wrapped August 8 at Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, WA.
The Northern Irish singer-songwriter also started out the year with a similarly short jaunt. He completed three dates in Texas in late January.
