Bob Seger is taking his time when it comes to unveiling dates for his upcoming tour with the Silver Bullet Band. Since first announcing his plans to tour, the American rock icon has rolled out just one or two concert dates at a time.

The fourth and most recent addition to Seger’s spring 2011 calendar is an April 7 performance at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH. Tickets will be priced at $65 (before applicable fees), according to the venue’s Web site.

Before announcing any concrete performance dates, tour-teasing videos were released that included flashes of a U.S. map with Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, New York and Massachusetts highlighted. So far, the four announced concerts are split evenly between Seger’s homestate of Michigan and nearby Ohio.

At the moment, the tour’s opening night falls on March 29, when Seger and his famed backing band will perform at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw, MI. Other concerts follow on March 31 in Toledo, OH, and April 2 in Grand Rapids, MI. The full itinerary, as it presently stands, is available below.

All presently announced Ohio shows go on sale this Friday, February 11, and Michigan onsales follow on Saturday, February 12.

It is unclear at this time whether Seger will travel outside of the five teased states. However, entertainment magazine Rolling Stone has reported that the total concert tally will be between 20 and 30 dates.

The tour is Seger’s first since the 2006-2007 jaunt for “Face the Promise.” He is currently working on a new album, though a title and release date for the project have not been announced. The spring 2011 tour will feature hits from throughout the musician’s lengthy career with the Silver Bullet Band, as well as exclusive previews of new material.
