The calendar keeps growing for Bob Seger’s spring tour with the Silver Bullet Band, beginning later this month in Ohio.

Since the 2011 tour was first announced in late January, the itinerary has grown to 23 dates across the United States and Canada, with six dates added since the last update in early March.

Some of the more recent concert additions include May 3 at New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA; May 7 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN; and May 14 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL.

The next round of onsales begin this Saturday, March 19, after an earlier March 17 presale for Seger’s tour. Based on Ticketmaster.com listings, ticket prices range from $67 (New Orleans and Saint Paul) to $75 (Rosemont) for these upcoming dates.

In Auburn Hills, MI, where Seger ends his tour on May 19 at The Palace, pricing information is yet to be announced.

The 2011 tour is the first for Seger and the Silver Bullet Band since their 2006-2007 jaunt. The return to the road has fared well at U.S. box offices since onsales began in February, with shows already sold out in Toledo, Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Buffalo and Boston.

Seger’s tour has fared equally well on TicketNews’ exclusive concert event rankings, which track consumer interest on the secondary market. Though unable to wrest the top position away from the likes of Taylor Swift and Josh Groban, ticket sales for Seger have placed the American rock icon in the rankings’ Top 5 for the past three weeks running.
