Singer-songwriters Gavin DeGraw and David Cook are teaming up later this year for a fall tour of the United States. The two musicians, along with opening act Carolina Liar, will be on the road together for over a month.

The musicians have booked 22 concerts for the joint venture, which launches October 9 at Penn State University in State College, PA, and concludes November 10 at the Classic Center in Athens, GA.

Select performances on the fall calendar include October 11 at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO; October 15 at Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO; October 24 at Humphrey’s in San Diego, CA; and November 1 at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX.

Public ticket sales open today and tomorrow, September 16-17, in select cities. The fall tour’s tickets are mostly priced between $25 and $50, though concert passes for the pair’s October 23 performance at the Arizona State Fair are set at $15. More ticketing details can be found on DeGraw’s official Web site.

The fall outing marks the first new tour for DeGraw since he was assaulted in New York City early on the morning of August 8. The musician was opening for the Maroon 5 and Train summer tour at the time, and missed two weeks of concerts before rejoining the tour for his final performances, August 24-26.

DeGraw and Cook are both using the upcoming tour to promote their latest albums. DeGraw is awaiting the September 20 release of his fourth studio album, “Sweeter,” while season seven “American Idol” winner Cook dropped his latest record, “This Loud Morning,” earlier in the summer on June 28.
