What began in early September as a simple three-show itinerary has developed into something much larger. Axl Rose’s hard rock outfit Guns N’ Roses has announced its intentions to play 30 dates on a full-fledged 2011 North American tour.

Of those intended performances, dates and venue details have now been revealed for 17 cities. The present (incomplete) itinerary begins October 28 at Amway Center in Orlando, FL, and concludes December 1 at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, MI.

Among the more recent announcements are GNR concerts on November 4 at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX; November 8 at the CentruyLink Center (formerly the Qwest Center) in Omaha, NE; November 17 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ; and November 25 at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA.

Tickets are already available to earlier announced concerts, while the next public ticket sales begin October 1 for the newer shows. Based on Ticketmaster.com listings, this weekend’s onsale events carry face values of anywhere from $26 (East Rutherford, NJ) to $95 (Camden, NJ).

GNR has regularly updated its tour itinerary in recent days and weeks. Event details are still forthcoming for Detroit, Cincinnatti, Nashville, Indianapolis, and Denver, among nearly a dozen other U.S. markets pinpointed by GNR. Buckcherry will provide support on at least the first five dates of the GNR tour.

Guns N’ Roses are touring behind the 2008 release of the decade-in-the-making “Chinese Democracy.” While this marks the band’s first full-length U.S. tour since 2006, the group has toured more extensively elsewhere to promote the set.
