Simon launched the So Beautiful or So What Tour in spring 2011 with more than two dozen performances in 16 North American cities. The national venture, promoting his new album of the same name, was supplemented by a round of international touring through the summer.

The musician had also planned to reunite with Art Garfunkle for a full-fledged Simon & Garfunkel tour in 2010. However, the venture was ultimately scrapped when vocal issues forced Garfunkel off the road. Whether the iconic duo will reschedule their road plans in the near future remains to be seen.
