Thomas Rhett is holding off the launch of his Center Point Road Tour by a year. The country star revealed Tuesday that his latest headlining trek has been officially rescheduled for 2021 as a result of the coronavirus.

Rhett had initially planned to launch the tour this month, but previously rearranged the schedule to postpone his shows in May and June. Now, fans will have to wait until next summer to catch a live show. Rescheduled dates now see the tour kick off in June 2021 and run through August, with new dates in Tampa, Boise and Salt Lake City to be determined.

“We make this decision with the health, safety, and well-being of our fans, touring crew, and venue staff as our priority,” the 30-year-old singer wrote in a statement to fans. “I miss seeing every single one of you and can’t wait until we are back in your neck of the woods next summer. In the meantime, I’ll keep writing songs and making music, hoping to hear your voices singing back to me next year louder than ever.”

Cole Swindell remains on board as opening act for most dates, with additional support expected to be announced at a later date. Tickets will be honored on the new dates or fans who purchased through Ticketmaster may request a refund until June 19, per the seller’s policy.

The tour comes in support of Rhett’s fourth album of the same name. Released last year, it earned Rhett a Grammy nomination and produced hit singles “Look What God Gave Her,” “Remember You Young” and “Beer Can’t Fix.”
