Hella Mega Tour – a multi-city trek headlined by Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer – has announced its updated schedule for 2021. The tour was originally scheduled for the summer of 2020, but pushed to 2021 when it became obvious that COVID would make touring in 2020 impossible. The touring run kicks off with a show at Globe Life Field in Texas on July 24.
“US, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The 2021 #HellaMegaTour is going down this summer, with a few date changes along the way…,” the tour announcement reads on Twitter. The announcement also informed ticket-holders for some venues that their dates have shifted – specifically Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco, which saw July initial dates moved to August and September in the new plans. Columbus and Milwaukee saw additional shows added.
Existing tickets purchased for the 2020 dates will be honored on the newly scheduled dates. Rescheduled shows have tickets on sale now, with newly added shows going on sale this week.
Tour dates scheduled for European venues have been pushed to 2022.
