The line between entertainment and charity will blur when country singer-songwriter Brad Paisley launches his next headlining tour.

Though only 40 cities have been marked for the jaunt’s first leg, Paisley’s planned 12-month H2O World Tour is expected to visit more than 75 cities. He’ll be raising awareness about safe drinking water along the way with tour partner Hope Through Healing Hands and its campaign for clean water.

Paisley’s outing launches May 21 at Virginia Beach Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, VA, and continues through September 30 at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman, MT. A brief break early in the itinerary will provide just enough time for Paisley to hit the international circuit and play gigs on June 23-24 in London, ENG, and June 25 in Notodden, NOR, just outside of Oslo.

Back in the States, tour highlights include performances on June 19 at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ; July 16 at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL; August 6 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX; September 11 at Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, WA; and September 24 at Usana Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, UT. Only one Canadian event is on the calendar at the moment: July 22 at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, ON.

TFL and ATBS for ticketing professionals

Prior to this week’s full announcement, a few select dates were already confirmed and entered public onsales. A majority of the summer tour’s onsales are yet to be announced, but tickets will be available to the general public on March 26 in Toronto, ON, and on March 27 in Darien Center, NY.

Solo artists Darius Rucker and Justin Moore will appear as special guests on the tour, except for the three overseas dates when Paisley will go it alone.

Before launching his summer-long headlining tour, Paisley will be a special guest himself on one stop of Brooks & Dunn’s Last Rodeo Tour. Paisley opens for the country icons on April 19 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Paisley recently wrapped the final leg of his American Saturday Night Tour on March 6 in North Charleston, SC. The tour launched in June 2009, the same month he released his seventh studio album, “American Saturday Night.”
