Vocal quintet Celtic Woman is three months into its current North American tour. But the group, whose performances feature a mix of classic and contemporary tunes, has fresh plans for another two months of touring this summer.

The next leg of Celtic Woman’s Songs from the Heart Tour begins July 12 at Harbour Station in St. John, NB. Nearly 50 late summer performances are booked through a September 12 event at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO.

The extensive calendar features two-night stands on August 30-31 at the Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks, CA; September 3-4 at The Show in Rancho Mirage, CA; and September 8-9 at Popejoy Hall in Albuquerque, NM. Other concert highlights include July 18 at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC; August 10 at Qwest Center in Omaha, NE; and August 25 at Rose Garden Arena in Portland, OR.

Tickets are already available in select summer tour markets. The next round of public onsales begins June 7 in a handful of other cities, such as Omaha and Albuquerque, while many other performances are still awaiting an onsale assignment. Full ticketing details will be available as they’re updated on Celtic Woman’s official Web site.

Celtic Woman’s spring 2010 tour is presently in the middle of a May 11-13 stand at Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA. The current venture, which started in early February, wraps on May 22 at Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, UT.

The all-female vocal group is no stranger to lengthy tours. In 2009 alone, Celtic Woman’s Isle of Hope Tour visited 72 cities from February through July, and then the group returned for an additional 35-city fall tour in October and November.
