Guitar prodigy Derek Trucks toured for years as an unofficial member of Southern rock crew, the Allman Brothers Band. While performing alongside his uncle and Allman Brothers drummer Butch Trucks, the young blues-rock musician worked on his solo material. He released his debut album with the Derek Trucks Band in 1997, only a few years after starting the group at the age of 15. Trucks has been hailed for his guitar work and often performs with special guests on tour, most frequently with his wife, singer-songwriter Susan Tedeschi. Together, the pair formed the collective Soul Stew Revival.
