It was a banner year for Coldplay in 2008 with a hit album and internationally popular tour. Chris Martin & Co. hope to replicate some of that success this year with a few Grammy nods during the February 8 award ceremony and a new round of concerts across the U.S. slated for this summer.
Veteran British speed-metal band Motorhead tours this fall
With their 20th studio album "Motorizer" coming out August 26, veteran British speed-metal band Motorhead will mount a fall headlining tour. This will follow their run on the Metal Masters tour with Judas Priest, Heaven & Hell and Testament, from August 6-31.
Motorhead's tour kicks off September 2 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, and finishes up September 19 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA. They will be playing 13 shows and several House of Blues clubs. Supporting Motorhead on the North American dates are The Misfits, Airbourne, Valient Thorr and Year Long Disaster
