Tickets for upcoming concerts from Tim McGraw, as well as tickets for the upcoming tour from Adam Lambert, are on sale throughout the weekend ending May 3 as compiled by TicketNews.
Starting off this weekend’s concert onsales are tickets to catch country crooner Tim McGraw live on stage. Appearing alongside today’s hottest country group Lady Antebellum, tickets for McGraw’s Southern Voice Tour are on sale throughout the weekend. Among dates on sale are stops in Cincinnati and Toronto. Also on sale throughout the weekend are tickets to catch Canadian rockers Rush on their upcoming tour. Dates on sale include shows in Tampa, Las Vegas, and Boston.

Tim McGraw tour plots six-month run for 'Southern Voice'
Country crooner Tim McGraw has at least six solid months of touring ahead of him in 2010, according to the performer's extensive North American itinerary.
The Southern Voice Tour kicks off February 11 at the Qwest Center in Omaha, NE, and concludes August 15 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Virginia Beach, VA. More than 50 dates have already been confirmed across the United States and Canada, with details on a few additional performances still forthcoming.
Tim McGraw, Blink-182 tickets on sale this week
Tickets to catch the upcoming concerts from Tim McGraw as well as tickets to the tour from Blink-182 are on sale throughout the week ending June 13 as compiled by Ticket News.
This week's onsales begin Thursday with tickets to catch Brand New live in concert. The punk rock band will be playing shows in San Diego, Detroit, Brooklyn, and West Hollywood. Also among the Thursday onsales are tickets to see Latin heartthrob Marc Anthony in concert in Miami. Friday's onsales start with concert tickets to upcoming shows from Chickenfoot. The Sammy Hagar fronted rockers have concerts in Boston and Virginia among the onsales.
Tim McGraw postpones Swampstock until 2009 due to hurricane
Tim McGraw's 15th annual Swampstock concert event, due to take place September 13 in Rayville, LA, 200 miles northwest of New Orleans, has been postponed until next year due to the effects of Hurricane Gustav on the state. The Rayville area experienced more than 20 inches of rain, and the state has been declared a disaster area by government officials. Critical resources are being directed towards relief efforts.
McGraw, his wife Faith Hill, Catherine Raney, Halfway to Hazard, Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean were scheduled to perform. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.
Tim McGraw ticket sales hit $20 million
Country music superstar Tim McGraw's 34-date Live Your Voice Tour ended July 7 and grossed about $20 million, drawing almost 500,000 fans, according to organizers. Jason Aldean and Halfway to Hazard opened the shows.
The combination arena/amphitheatre tour, which launched May 9, included a handful of festival dates including Stagecoach, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Grand Junction, Greeley Stampede and Milwaukee's Summerfest. The tour marked McGraw's first solo outing following his record-breaking Soul 2 Soul tours with his wife, and fellow country music superstar, Faith Hill.
N.Y. Yankees, Tim McGraw among onsales
With opening day just over a month away, five Major League Baseball teams are holding ticket onsales this week, ending March 1, in addition to onsales for specific shows by various country and rock acts, as compiled by TicketNews.
On the baseball front, both The Atlanta Braves and the storied New York Yankees have single-game tickets on sale Friday, Feb. 29. The Braves hope to rebound from last year and reach the top of the National League East in 2008, while the Yankees, who added new manager Joe Girardi, look to best their division rival Boston Red Sox. Other baseball onsales include the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, coming off a division winning season, the Cleveland Indians, also hoping to make back-to-back playoff appearances in 2008, and the Seattle Mariners, who are looking to rebound after a disappointing 2007.

The Chicago Cubs are the big movers on the Overall Events chart this week, creating fireworks with a series win over divisional leaders the Milwaukee Brewers. The Cubs rocket from number eight to number three on the chart while filling fans’ hearts with hope of a pennant race this year. Kenny Chesney returns to the Overall Events rankings at number seven as his hit single “Never Wanted Nothing More” shoots up the Billboard charts. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul Tour also rejoins the rankings, taking the number ten spot.
