There’s no place like home. With the Broadway strike over, Wicked returns to number one.

The BCS Championship Game is drumming up controversy and ticket sales. While many people disagree with the Ohio State/LSU match-up and argue that the BCS ratings system is broken, sales for the event debut the game at number three on the Top Events chart.

Although the NFL has been dominating the sports chart lately, this week was all about college football. Last minute sales for the Big 12 Championship and the SEC Championship followed by the initial rush for bowl tickets fills six slots with college football tournaments. The BCS Championship Game takes number one, the Sugar Bowl comes in at five, the Rose Bowl appears at seven, and the Capital One Bowl ranks at eight.

The Little Mermaid will have to wait a little longer to become part of your world. The Disney musical was one of the many Broadway shows shuttered for nearly three weeks during the stagehands strike. As a result, opening night was postponed to January 10, 2008. With the stagehands now back at work, Mermaid picks up where it left off, resuming preview performances and regaining a position on the Top NYC Theatre chart at number nine.
