This week’s Steals and Deals features some great bargains on tickets for when the New York Yankees host the Detroit Tigers on April 29. In addition, fans of New York’s equally popular baseball team, the Mets, can also find some solid deals.

Ticketspot.com has Field Championship level tickets for boxes 1-52 for $127 each, plus convenience and shipping charges, and boxes 54-80 for $122 each plus charges. Face value for these seats for season ticket holders are $250 and $190 respectively. With season tickets sold out, the purchase price for remaining tickets on Yankees.com are $325 and $280 respectively.

Lower priced bargains are also available. Main Championship level tickets, in boxes 240-269 and 223-245, are only $83 a piece plus charges on Ticketspot.com, although the face value per ticket is $120, and those same seats are currently listed for $180 on Yankees.com.

Tier Box MVP level tickets in secions 1-18 are currently only $5 and bleacher tickets are selling for $2 on the site. Those tickets would normally cost $30 and $14, respectively, at the box office on gameday.

Across town at Shea Stadium, there are also values to be found as the New York Mets host the Pittsburg Pirates on April 28. The Mets are hoping to continue their strong play at home and perhaps take an early lead in the National League’s Eastern division. The Pirates are struggling to play .500 baseball again this season.

Inner field box tickets are selling for $35 each plus charges on Ticketspot.com, although they are selling for $57 on Mets.com. Outer field box tickets are only $29 a piece on Ticketspot, but Mets.com is charging $38. Upper Box 700 level tickets are $17 plus charges on Ticketspot, but Mets.com is charging $23 plus charges.
