Touring titan Dave Matthews Band (DMB) has added an impressive summer extension onto its current spring itinerary. The new 45-date leg picks up May 27 at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Center, NY, and ends October 2 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK.
The band’s second outing of the year will visit more than 30 cities on a coast-to-coast circuit, including a series of multiple-night engagements across the U.S., including June 5-6 at New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford, CT; July 21-22 at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY; August 14-15 at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, FL; and September 4-6 at Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, WA.
Venues have yet to be announced for a May 29-30 stand in Boston, MA, and an August 29 concert in San Francisco, CA. Two shows are booked for Canada on June 9 at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, ON, and June 10 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, QC.
Presales for members of official DMB fan association the Warehouse begin at 6 p.m. (ET) this evening, February 19, and end at 11:59 p.m. on March 2. Public onsales for the summer tour leg begin March 12-14.
The spring and summer tours are in support of DMB’s currently untitled studio album. The record was originally announced with an April 14 release date to match the start of the tour, but it has since been pushed back to June 2.
The tour launches April 14 at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, and pauses with a May 8-9 stand at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Four shows on the 14-city spring trek are already sold-out, including DMB’s April 17-18 run at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA.
