This weekend’s onsales begin with tickets to several upcoming concerts from Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. Matthews, who fronts the enormously popular Dave Matthews Band, and Reynolds, who is a member of the band TR3, have known each other for the last 20 years and have been playing music together for nearly as long. While each has their own individual bands they perform with, the duo will occasionally collaborate and tour together. This weekend has concerts in New York City and Connecticut on sale.
Also on sale this weekend are tickets to upcoming concerts from superstar country group Rascal Flatts. Over the group’s 12 years of existence, they have been responsible for 11 number one hits, and have never released a studio single that has not hit the top 20. The band’s live album is set to be released on November 8. Tickets go on sale today for their shows in Birmingham, AL, and Little Rock, AR.
Rounding out this weekend’s onsales are tickets to an upcoming New York City concert from Phish. Often compared by critics to the legendary Grateful Dead, Phish has managed to achieve success mainly through live concerts over radio play. The band, which is known for strong concerts which involve lengthy “jam sessions” over playing straight sets of songs, crosses several genres with their music. This particular concert will take place at Madison Square Garden.
Finally, tickets are on sale this weekend for several shows from Bob Seger. The singer, who is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, released his latest album this past year. Concert dates on sale this weekend include shows in Phoenix, AZ, Los Angeles, CA, and Las Vegas, NV.
