The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is celebrating their 50-year anniversary, and this year’s event will feature headlining artists like The Rolling Stones, Katy Perry, and Santana.

The eight-day festival, set to take place from April 25 to April 28 and May 2 to 5, will commence at the New Orleans Fair Grounds. Thursday, April 25 will feature performances from headliners Earth, Wind & Fire, Alanis Morissette, The Doobie Brothers, and Ciara, as well as artists like Jason Marsalis, Amy Helm, and Boyfriend. Friday’s show will see Santana, The Revivalists, Jimmy Cliff, The Head and The Heart, and The Robert Cray Band take the stage, along with Tab Benoit, The Subdudes, and Bonerama.

Popstar Katy Perry, who just wrapped-up her Witness World Tour last year, is set to take over Saturday’s show, alongside rapper Logic, soul’s Leon Bridges, and Americana band Hurray For The Riff Raff. Sunday’s show will feature another variety of artists, varying from rising Columbian singer J Balvin to the legendary Van Morrison, along with Irma Thomas, The O’Jays, and Indigo Girls.

The second weekend will kick-off with The Rolling Stones, who are heading out on their U.S. No Filter tour this year. Tom Jones, Ziggy Marley, Mavis Staples, and Rita Collidge will also perform during the May 2 show. Country’s Chris Stapleton will take over Friday’s event, followed by performances from Glady’s Knight, Gary Clark Jr., Ani DiGFranco, and Kasami Washington.

Dave Matthews Band and Pitbull are slated to play on Saturday, May 4, as well as Diana Ross, Aaron Neville, Galactic, and Tank and The Bangas. Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band will round-out the festival on the final Sunday, performing alongside artists like John Fogerty, Herbie Hancock, The Mavericks, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue with Nevilles. Aside from the music, the festival has an array of activities, food, and marketplaces. The Congo Square African Marketplace features local, national, and international crafts, while Heritage Square’s Contemporary Crafts will feature handcrafted clothes, leather goods, and musical instruments. Guests can view the Louisiana Folklife Village, Native American Village, and The Grandstand, as well as the Cultural Exchange Pavilion, honoring New Orleans’ cultural ancestry.
