Singer and actress Mandy Moore hasn’t toured in over a decade, but now, she’s making a return to the music scene with a 2020 North American tour.

“It’s been over a decade since I’ve hit the road but I am thrilled to put together an intimate, elevated evening of new and old tunes, performed with a superb group of musicians,” Moore said in a statement. “I want the show to have threads of what the writing and recording process was like with this band, almost like you’ve been invited in our living room for an inside glimpse. It just feels so good to be sharing this side of me again in its purest form, a real side of me I have been itching to put back into the universe.”

The 2020 tour will kick-off late March in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, followed by gigs in Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Tampa, Dallas, Phoenix, and Seattle. Along the way, she’ll make stops at venues like New York City’s Beacon Theatre, Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Jackonville’s Florida Theatre, and the Paramount Theatre in Seattle before wrapping-up at Denver’s Gothic Theatre on May 9.

Moore recently dropped two singles, “When I Was Watching” and “I’d Rather Lose,” which will appear on her forthcoming LP, due next year. The new record will follow 2009’s Amanda Leigh. Moore garnered attention in the music scene with her debut So Real in 1999, which featured the single “Candy.” She returned in the early 2000s with I Wanna Be with You, Mandy Moore, Coverage, and Wild Hope. Aside from music, Moore is known for roles in films like The Princess Diaries, Dr. Doolittle 2, 47 Meters Down, and Midway, as well as the voice of Princess Rapunzel in Disney’s Tangled.
