During their appearance at the recent World Travel Market in London earlier this month, the ticket provider Sports Events 365 signed agreements with several travel operators – representing 20 different countries.
These incoming travel operators represent countries across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa including Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Croatia, Greece, and the three Baltic states: Slovenia, Qatar, and Morocco. These are new markets for Sports Events 365, who are already involved in 11 traditional markets: the U.S., Spain, Italy, France, Britain, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Russia, Turkey, and Serbia.
Sports Events 365 founder and CEO Seffi Donner believes that there is a growing interest to see football as well as other sporting events outside of the company’s traditional markets, noting that certain countries like Argentina and Croatia, which are known for top players, have seen an increase in demand. In 2020, he expects these new markets to make a substantial contribution to the company.
“We’re looking for increased sales next year and a further expansion going forward,” Donner said in a release.
At the World Trade Market, Sports Events 365 also debuted their new supplier interface for ticket vendors, which allows travel agencies, tour operators, and other travel customers to receive immediate confirmation on 80 percent of sporting event tickets. The technology, developed in-house with leading travel industry software houses, is available to major ticket vendors. Additionally, the company recently partnered with two new software houses and has expanded its existing agreement with the leading club Atletico Madrid for the upcoming season.
Sports Events 365, which operates in 22 languages across the globe, is working toward becoming a place where travelers anywhere in the world can find popular and exciting events in new cities. In an interview with TicketNews earlier this year, Donner explained that their “attractive prices” and “very high standard of fulfillment” keeps customers returning to their site to buy tickets whenever traveling.
