AEG announced a deal this week naming Festicket as the official ticketing partner for festivals BST Hyde Park and All Points East.

Festivalgoers will be able to purchase tickets and exclusive travel packages for All Points East, set to be headlined by Tame Impala at Victoria Park, along with BST Hyde Park, which will feature the girl group Little Mix, as well as all events in each festival’s respective series. Jim King, AEG Presents’ CEO of European Festivals Jim King explained in a press release that the promoter is excited to partner with Festicket, noting that “they’ve built a strong audience base and a dynamic marketing offering which complements our wider ticketing strategy.”

Greg Holmes, the Commercial Director for Festicket, said that AEG Presents is a “prestigious company” that they’re delighted to work with. Now, they’ll have the opportunity to bring a hassle free experience to fans who are looking to purchase festival tickets across the globe.

“We’re really excited to show what the Festicket platform can do for fans, streamlining their usual booking process, reducing stress and ultimately allowing the to enjoy the event to the fullest.”

This is the latest news for Festicket; the music festival experience platform revealed last month the appointment of Ed Walsh, Eventbrite’s former Music Account Director, as the Strategic Commercial Director, as well as the former ex-lastminute.com CEO Ian McCaig as Chairman of the Board and the rock concert promoter Harvey Goldsmith as the company’s senior advisor. Festicket also recently launched a “pay with friends” feature which allows music fans to purchase tickets as a group and acquired the point-of-sale platform Event Genius, as well as its consumer-facing brand Ticket Arena.
