The iconic rock band Pearl Jam has returned to the music scene with news of a forthcoming record and North American tour this spring.

Toronto, Ontario will kick-off the tour at Scotiabank Arena, followed by gigs in Ottawa, Baltimore, St. Louis, Phoenix, and Oklahoma City. They’ll stop at arenas along the way like New York City’s Madison Square Garden, the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, and Denver’s Pepsi Center, before wrapping-up with two-night gigs at The Forum in Los Angeles and the Oakland Arena in NoCal. This will mark the group’s first full North American arena tour since 2015-16.

The group hasn’t recorded new music since 2013’s Lightning Bolt. Their highly-anticipated 11th record, Gigaton, is due March 27 and will feature the imminent single “Dance of the Clairvoyants.” Lead guitarist Mike McCready revealed in a statement that the group has been away from music for a while, noting that “making this record was a long journey.”

“It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption,” McCready said. “Collaborating with my bandmates on ‘Gigaton’ ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”

Pearl Jam is offering tickets through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program – despite the fact that the group tried to take on the ticketing giant back in the ’90s.
