The world’s largest hip-hop festival, Rolling Loud, is heading to Portugal for an inaugural fest this summer with Event Genius by Festicket.

The festival will make its debut in Europe with Festicket providing ticketing, travel, access control, and cashless services during the weekend-long event. Rolling Loud alumni Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Future, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, and more will take the stage, and organizers expect big attendance numbers as the 2019 event brought in 60,000 fans per day in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. Also, tickets are likely to go fast — the inaugural Australian edition of the fest sold out its 20,000 tickets in less than 40 minutes.

Festicket Chief Supply Chain Officer and Event Genius founder, Reshad Hossenally, noted in a statement that the response from fans across Europe has been huge and “we’re especially excited to be involved to help make the transition from US to Europe as smooth as possible for our new partners.”

“Our product set covers so many bases now that we are able to provide a great service at every stage of the event cycle, and really take the pressure off our clients,” Hossenally said.

Festicket acquired Event Genius last year, and their new joint venture, Event Genuis by Festicket offers cashless payment services, ticketing, accommodation, travel and packages, marketing, data insights and analytics, access control, and fan engagement tools, which was created to “plug a gap in the market that no other organization has addressed to date.”

Jason Jennings, head of global operations for one of the festival’s partners Event Horizon, said that their team is thrilled to help bring Rolling Loud to Portugal.

“The location is perfect and it’s great to have a provider like Event Genius by Festicket on board who can handle so much of the ticketing and on-site demands, so we can focus on helping make the first edition of Rolling Loud Europe one to remember!” Jennings said.

Catch hip-hop stars appearing at the festival for its inaugural Portuguese edition on Praia de Rocha beach, Portimao on July 8 through 10.

This is the latest Festicket news; earlier this year, the company announced deals with the beach festival Afro Nation Portugal and  partnered with AEG to become the official ticketing partner for festivals BST Hyde Park and All Points East in the UK. Additionally, Festicket launched the feature Pay with Friends last year, which allows festival goers to purchase tickets as a group and split the payment equally.
