Sasha Colby Drops Debut Single, North American Tour 

Drag superstar Sasha Colby just dropped her debut single, and now, she’s hitting the road for a round of North American tour dates.

The “Sasha Colby: Stripped Tour” will kick-off on February 29, 2024 at Calgary’s Bella’s Concert Hall. From there, she’ll appear at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts, Marathon Music Works in Nashville, Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall, and the Fillmore in Minneapolis. The tour will also see Colby stop in Dallas, Boston, Los Angeles, and New York City before wrapping-up at the Hawaii Theatre in Honolulu on April 19.

The trek follows Colby’s historic win earlier this year as the first transgender woman from Hawaii to be crowned America’s Next Drag Superstar. While she garnered massive attention on RuPaul, Colby has been a trailblazer in the drag community for years and was named Miss Continental in 2012. She has since been featured in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, and the New York Times.

“The fans have been incredibly supportive through my journey over the past year, and many of them have been supporting me for decades, so I am extremely grateful and excited to have the opportunity to see them, connect with them, and perform for them across North America in 2024,” Colby said in a statement. 

Last week, Colby released the single “Feel the Power,” which she said she can’t wait to perform live. The track is Colby’s first-ever music release, which she believed was “the most natural next step” in her career after performing for two decades.

“I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember and it has been a privilege to work with Glovibes and Luciana to create a song that not only embodies all that I love with music, but what I’ve seen the audience love too: dancing, disco, personal power, and the freedom of expression,” Colby said. “Music unites us in our shared human experience and ‘Feel the Power’ invites us all to the dance floor – exactly as we are – to let go of our troubles and enjoy life.”
