Ticketmaster has officially signed-on as the first founding sponsor of the Buffalo Bills’ new Highmark Stadium, set to open in 2026.

The ticketing giant, who has been the Bills’ sole ticketing sponsor for more than 20 years, will continue to be the exclusive primary ticketing sponsor and official resale marketplace for the team. Ticketmaster will entitle an entry gate and will be the presenting sponsor of the stadium’s tour program, the team said. Additionally, the ticketer will be “deeply engrained” in the season ticket holder rewards program.

While Ticketmaster is the first founding sponsor, the Bills and the sales agency Legends are looking to sell between 8 and 10 sponsors. The team did not disclose financials, however, the “founding” level is the highest price point other than Highmark. Each founding deal will also include a premier asset.

Additionally, Ticketmaster said it will use fan data to help the Bills identify viable options for non-football events at the stadium.

Highmark Stadium is set to open in June 2026 in Orchard Park. While the project was originally projected to cost $1.4 billion, that price tag has increased to $2.2 billion, per the Erie County Stadium Corporation. The state of New York and the county will supply $850 million public contribution, though the Bills are responsible for all further costs.

Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation made headlines over the past year for their alleged monopolistic and anticompetitive practices. The pair are subjects of an antitrust lawsuit, brought forth by the Department of Justice and 39 states. A trial is set for 2026.
