Valley Stream, New York: Broker Genius, creator of the world’s most powerful event ticket pricing software, announced the additions of Jim McGowan as Chief Technology Officer and Nigel Noyes as Head of Data Science and Engineering. The two tech and data veterans will spearhead efforts to build increasingly sophisticated pricing automation and analytics into the company’s software.

An inventor with more than 40 patents, Jim McGowan joins Broker Genius from Peeractive, where he served as the Vice President of Engineering and Innovation. In his tenure, Jim implemented dynamic, AI-driven pricing systems, increasing sales conversions by 1,000 percent. Previously, Jim co-invented a voice algorithm now used in every mobile phone in the United States and European Union.

Jim holds a doctorate degree in Psychology from Rutgers University.

Nigel joins Broker Genius from MasterCard, where he served as Vice President of Data Science. There, he used vast amounts of transactional data in analyses for governments and the private sector. Nigel also brings his experience from capital markets, where he designed and implemented a real-time risk system that handled 10% of the world’s exchange trades.

Nigel earned an MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a certification in Quantitative Finance. Previously, Nigel earned a master’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Cornell University.

The addition of Jim and Nigel come during a period of sharp growth for Broker Genius. In the past twelve months, the company has more than doubled in size to its current 125 employees across three continents.
