Roger Daltrey, the iconic vocalist behind The Who, will launch a solo tour of North America this fall while his classic rock band is off the road. The Use It or Lose It Tour will feature cuts from Daltrey’s solo career and his work with The Who, and most public ticket sales start August 8.
This fall will also feature a co-headline venture from Hollywood Undead and Atreyu. The rap-rock group and alternative metal band have plotted five weeks of shows together. When rock band Lotus hits the road this fall, it will offer a unique pay-what-you-want option for select dates on the tour. Finally, the 32nd Cape May Jazz Festival has been confirmed for November 6-8 at the Theatre at Lower Regional High School in Cape May, NJ.

Pearl Jam is extending its 2009 tour plans overseas for a recently announced seven-date tour of Australia and New Zealand. The outing begins November 14 at Members Equity Stadium in Perth, AUS, and continues on through November 29 at AMI Stadium in Christchurch, NZL. The other confirmed dates are set for November 17 at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, AUS; November 20 at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, AUS; November 22 at Sydney Football Stadium in Sydney, AUS; November 25 at QSAC Stadium in Brisbane, AUS; and November 27 at Mt. Smart Stadium in Auckland, NZL.
Papa Roach will follow its supporting dates with Nickelback by starting a headline tour of Europe. The overseas outing runs from September 29 at Schlachthof in Wiesbaden, GER, through October 14 at the O2 Academy in Sheffield, ENG. A single date in Japan has also been set for October 18 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City. Papa Roach’s next supporting date for Nickelback is coming up on August 9 at The Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, ON, with more opening gigs following through September 12 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX.
Travis Tritt has about 15 concerts coming up on his 2009 tour itinerary, which picks up August 7 at Quincy Raceways in Quincy, IL, and now continues through November 14 at Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino in Tulsa, OK. The country musician has some recent additions lined up for August 29 at Birmingham Race Course in Birmingham, AL; September 11 at Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, AR; and November 13 at Lumiere Place Casino & Hotel in St. Louis, MO, among other dates.
Mastodon has lined up a late fall outing with Dethklock, the stars of Adult Swim’s “Metalocalypse.” The 33-city North American trek opens October 2 at Roseland Theater in Portland, OR, and ends November 19 at Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA. Richard Buckner has lined up a brief headline tour in September. The seven-date trek begins September 17 at Forward Music Festival in Madison, WI, and continues through September 29 at The Earl in Atlanta, GA.
