The hip-hop group consisting of Fergie, will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo rocketed to success in 2003 with the release of "Elephunk," which sold 7.5 million albums and won a Grammy Award. Originating from Los Angeles, CA, The Black Eyed Peas have topped Billboard charts, ranked seventh in the Hot 100 Artists of the decade, and ranked 12th in Billboard’s Artist of the Decade. Since 1995, the group has sold 28 million albums worldwide and won three Grammy Awards.
The group’s leading lady, Fergie, released a solo album, "The Dutchess," in 2006, and returned to the group in 2009 to release their latest album, "The E.N.D." will.i.am, the group’s singer and songwriter, has been involved in his own side projects, including the "I Am Scholarship Fund," which provides financial assistance to students looking to pursue college.
Black Eyed Peas tour far from 'The E.N.D.' with new summer concerts
The chart-dominating Black Eyed Peas have announced dates for the second leg of their North American tour, even as the first leg continues.
The new batch of dates opens with a July 27-28 stand at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON, and closes a month later on August 23 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, AB.

Black Eyed Peas tour brings 'The E.N.D.' to North America
After a banner year of chart-topping singles and a best-selling album, the Black Eyed Peas have announced plans to launch The E.N.D. World Tour 2010 with their first North American headline tour in about four years.
The 32-date venture begins February 4 with a performance at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA, and concludes April 11 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, BC. The hip-hop group's calendar also has them bound for shows on February 24 at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY; March 13 at United Center in Chicago, IL; and March 29 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.

The quartet -- apl.de.ap, Fergie, Taboo and will.i.am -- will perform in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth and Auckland from October 1-13, supporting their album "The E.N.D," which debuted at No. 1 in Australia and No. 2 in New Zealand, and has become the group's first U.S. album chart topper.
Black Eyed Peas tour plans summer dates supporting 'The END'
Black Eyed Peas have been out of the public eye for a few years as the group's members pursued solo careers. But the band will be back in 2009 with new material and an early summer tour.
Hip-hop artist and producer will.i.am divulged that the quartet plans to hit the road in May or June in a recent interview with Billboard. The Peas have performed together internationally in the years since releasing "Monkey Business" in 2005, but have not extensively toured North America since headlining the 2006 Honda Civic Tour.
