Formed in 2000, Brand New is a five member alternative rock band out of Levittown, New York. The band is composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Jesse Lacey, guitarist Vincent Accardi, guitarist and keyboardist Derrick Sherman, bassist Garret Tierney and drummer Brian Lane. Lacey, Tierney, and Lane were all former members of the late 1990’s band The Rookie Lot but eventually split off and formed their new band with two new members.
Brand New has had contracts with multiple labels, including Tiny Evil, Interscope, Triple Crown, and Iodine. Their first album, “Your Favorite Weapon” which was released in 2001 was described as a moderate success, selling just over 50,000 copies. “Deja Entendu” was their second album which was an improvement from their first, debuting at number 63 on the Billboard 200.
Paramore tour supports 'Brand New Eyes' with fall headline dates
Pop-punk band Paramore is back on track this fall, as the band awaits the release of its latest album "Brand New Eyes" and the launch of a matching headline tour of North America.
The album release date and tour launch coincide with the first show falling on September 29 at Fox Theater in Pomona, CA. Paramore wraps its headline run about five weeks later with a hometown performance on November 1 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.
Brand New tour plots headline dates for 'Daisy' this fall
Punk band Brand New will spend more than a month on the road this fall as the group promotes its latest album with a headline tour. The venture begins October 1 at Time Warner Cable Amphitheater in Cleveland, OH, and ends November 28 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY.
The 40-date trek includes stops from coast to coast across the United States, as well as a couple dates in the eastern provinces of Canada. The tour also includes several multiple-night engagements booked for October 20-21 at the House of Blues in San Diego, CA; November 14-15 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA; November 17-18 at the House of Blues in Boston, MA; and November 21-22 at Kool Haus in Toronto, ON.
Brand New, Kid Rock tickets on sale throughout the weekend
Tickets for upcoming concerts from Kid Rock as well as tickets for upcoming tour stops from Brand New are on sale throughout the weekend ending August 10 as compiled by Ticket News.
The weekend onsales begin this morning with tickets to catch Katy Perry live in concert. The pop star, who also has been tapped to judge during the upcoming season of American Idol, has a concert in Los Angeles among the Friday onsales. Also on sale this morning are tickets to see Rock & Roll legend Little Richard in concert in Virginia, as well as tickets to catch rockers Wilco in concert in Texas. Country legend Willie Nelson has a concert in Memphis on sale Friday morning as well.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has announced its plans for the 2009 holiday season, which includes more than 100 concerts from early November through the first days of January 2010. Two separate touring groups will tackle the massive itinerary, many dates of which feature twice-a-day performances at more than 50 venues.
