Stagecoach announces 2011 festival lineup, ticket sales
For a fifth year, country music's Stagecoach Festival will once again grace Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA. Slated for the April 30 – May 1 weekend, the country music festival has tagged a mix of veteran performers and up-and-coming acts for the upcoming season.
Event organizers recently unveiled a billing headlined by Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood for the spring 2011 event. Also high on the lineup are Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Easton Corbin, Loretta Lynn, Chris Young and recently resurging star Leon Russell.
Coachella, Stagecoach, Lollapalooza set festival dates for 2011
The summer festival season is winding down in the United States, but some of the nation's top destination events have already announced event dates for 2011.
The Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA, will once again host its annual duo of events. Fans can celebrate a dozen years of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival over the April 15-17 weekend, while the Stagecoach Country Music Festival marks its fifth year later on April 30-May 1.
Stagecoach Festival confirmed for 2010 as dates surface for Coachella
The fourth annual Stagecoach Festival is a go for 2010, with the two-day event booked for April 24-25 at its usual site at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA. Several acts have already been confirmed for the country music festival, which hosted more than 100,000 attendees in 2009.
Keith Urban and Toby Keith will both make their Stagecoach debut as headlining performers, along with up-and-coming duo Sugarland and industry veterans Brooks & Dunn.
Stagecoach Festival initiates ticket layaway option for 2009 event
There are many items available for purchase on a layaway plan but concert tickets? In what may be a concert industry first, promoters Goldenvoice, The Messina Group and Moore Entertainment Group are offering a layaway plan for the third annual Stagecoach Festival in Indio, CA on April 25-26, 2009.
The layaway options for tickets and camping are available to festival goers only online, and single day tickets and parking lot tickets are not available for layaway plans. There are two layaway plans available: the first requires 50 percent down plus Ticketmaster fees with the remaining 50 percent automatically deducted from your card on April 19, 2009; the second plan requires 10 percent down plus Ticketmaster fees, with the remaining total automatically deducted in equal payments on the 9th of each month moving forward and the final payment deducted on April 19, 2009.
Country music's Stagecoach Festival announces lineup for April 25-26
Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire and Kid Rock will headline country music's annual Stagecoach Festival when it returns to the California desert at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA, on April 25-26, as previously announced. The dates assigned to the acts have not been set yet.
Tickets go on sale on November 14 at 10 a.m. (PT) at all Ticketmaster locations, and start at just $99 for two-day passes. A variety of reserved seating, camping and RV packages are detailed at the event's official Web site.
Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals confirmed for 2009
The 2009 editions of Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and Stagecoach: California’s Country Music Festival have been confirmed for April 17-19 and April 25-26, respectively. Both events will again take place at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA, the same grounds where Coachella debuted in 1999. Stagecoach is reverting back to its original two-day format, and both festivals are a week earlier than last year.
Coachella 2008 was staged April 25-27 and featured more than 100 artists, including Prince, Roger Waters, Kraftwerk, My Morning Jacket, Death Cab for Cutie, Serj Tankian, Fatboy Slim, Tegan and Sara. The multi-stage festival features a cross-section of music genres, including alternative, rock, electronic and hip hop.
