Warren Haynes's Christmas Jam expands to two days for 20th anniversary
Now entering its 20th year, Warren Haynes Presents: The Christmas Jam will expand for the first time ever to two nights -- December 12 and 13 -- at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, NC. As is the tradition, all proceeds from the Christmas Jam will be donated to Habitat For Humanity.
The Christmas Jam's founder, guitarist Haynes, is best known as the co-founder of Gov't Mule and a long time member of the Allman Brothers Band.
Warren Haynes and Friends to Rock for Habitat for Humanity
Flying relatively low on the winter concert radar, Haynes will host the 18th annual Christmas Jam, December 16th at the Asheville Civic Center in North Carolina. Named one of the “10 Best Concerts of the Year” by the London Times, it’s amazing this benefit concert goes so relatively unnoticed. Haynes handpicks the performers that generally represent a wide rock spectrum. Headlining and making his Christmas Jam debut is Dave Matthews appearing solo. If past Christmas Jams are any precedent, Matthews won’t find himself on stage alone for very long.
