Due to some European cancellations this past summer, The Police has extended its original tour itinerary to enable disappointed ticket holders to attend previously postponed German and British shows. The tour is currently scheduled to end in February in Japan and will be reformed to accommodate shows in June.

Ticket holders for the Germany shows in Mannheim and Dusseldorf should retain their tickets which are now valid for a show on June 5, 2008 (Mannheim) and June 8, 2008 (Dusseldorf). Tickets from the Oct. 15 Manchester, UK show are now valid for June 17, 2008, and from the Oct. 16, 2008 Manchester show, are valid for June 18, 2008. Refunds are also available and ticket holders can contact their point of purchase.

The postponed show in Antwerp, BEL cannot be rescheduled and is now canceled. Ticket holders for this show should return to point of purchase for a refund.

As for additional concerts next spring since it is unusual for a group with the Police’s huge staging to do just a few shows, Arthur Fogel, CEO of Global Touring for Live Nation and tour promoter of The Police Tour, advised TicketNews: “Nothing additional at this point in time.”

The second American leg of The Police World Tour starts at Madison Square Garden in New York on Oct. 31 and continues to Central and South America throughout November and December. Dates are scheduled in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and China for early 2008.
