Seatwave, a UK ticket reseller website which promotes an exchange for fans to buy and sell tickets for concerts. theatre and sporting events has announced receiving $8 million in funding.
The site, a competitor to Viagogo.com was launched in February of this year by Joe Cohen, who had previously worked for Match.com and Ticketmaster.
