Boost Mobile Giving Volunteers Free Taking Back Sunday Tickets
Boost Mobile RockCorps giving a ticket to see Taking Back Sunday next month at Warehouse Live in Houston, Texas.
RockCorps was founded less than 5 years ago, in hopes to inspire volunteerism in young adults, encouraging them to be active in local community activities. Since the non-profit group also believed in the power of music, they teamed up with cell phone company Boost Mobile to provide free concert tickets to those who volunteer.
There will be several different volunteer activities that you can participate in this Saturday and Sunday (July 14th and 15th). Projects include helping out at the Houston Food Bank, painting and landscaping for a local charity group, and park cleanup with the Bayou Preservation Association. . . .
Sign-up here to volunteer. Each volunteer that gives at least four hours of their time will earn a ticket to see Taking Back Sunday at Warehouse Live on August 2nd. Houstonist believes we should all volunteer, without expecting anything in return – but when you do, it’s just icing on the cake.
