You’ll have to wait a while to see Jack and Meg.
Two days before they were scheduled to hit the road, The White Stripes have announced that they are canceling their forthcoming tour due to Meg White suffering from acute anxiety. The health issue has rendered her temporarily unable to travel at this time, according the group.
The White Stripes said they “sincerely apologize” to their fans. “We hate to let people down and are very sorry,” Jack and Meg wrote on their website.
Months before it was scheduled to begin, the tour seemed to have problems, as the pair rescheduled several shows in a move to exact some revenge on Chicago DJs.
Fans can obtain refunds for their tickets at point of purchase . . .
