Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger recently said that the band is hoping to announce a number of new tour dates for 2008, according to Gigwise.
Jagger made the announcement during a surprise visit to the inaugural Rajasthan International Folk Festival in Jodhpur, India.
He told the Indian Times that the band were considering shows in India and other countries across Asia.
The Rolling Stones have only just completed their two year long Bigger Bang tour which concluded with a three night residency at the O2 Arena in London, in August.
