Brooklyn, NY four-piece band The Forms kicked off a national tour with a record release party on Oct. 30 at New York City’s Cake Shop. The group is touring in support of their self-titled sophomore record, released Oct. 23, on the band’s own label, Threespheres/The Rebel Group. The tour wraps Nov. 20 at the Tunic Lounge in Portland, OR.

The post-hardcore group released its debut album “Icarus” in 2004 that caught the attention of fellow bands, and were handpicked to tour with The National, Death From Above 1979, The Hold Steady, OK Go and Minus the Bear.

For their second album, The Forms once again turned to legendary producer Steve Albini, enduring an intense, 50 consecutive days in the studio.
