Folk singer Joan Baez is celebrating her 50th anniversary in music with shows in the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states starting March 21 in Albany, NY. She has concerts booked through April 3 in Wilmington, DE.

Baez and Passim Center (originally Club 47) in Cambridge, MA will both celebrate their 50th anniversaries together as well. In March, Baez will be hosted by Passim for two evenings. March 27th’s “A Conversation with Joan Baez” will feature her in a dialogue with Steve Morse, longtime rock journalist for the Boston Globe. On the following night, Baez will perform at Sanders Theatre, where Club Passim will present her with a lifetime achievement award as well as hosting a special post-concert reception.
