In support of his new album “Rain” (Rykodisc), scheduled to be released Jan. 29, Joe Jackson is returning to the road for his first tour since the summer of 2006, starting April 1 in Toronto and winding down May 13 in Los Angeles.

Joining Jackson on the 24-date tour will be the duo that also performs on the new album: Graham Maby (bass/vocals) and Dave Houghton (drums/vocals); Jackson handles vocals and keyboards. This band is three-fourths of the legendary original Joe Jackson Band that made Jackson’s first three records and his most recent one, 2003’s “Volume 4.”

Included with the new CD will be a special DVD featuring three songs from
the album recorded live at the Islington Academy in London, an
exclusive behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of the new record
as well as Joe Jackson’s guide to Berlin.
