Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Nicole Atkins and her band, The Sea, will hit the road to headline a major North American club tour, starting Jan. 25 at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. The tour will include a performance in Austin, TX during the prestigious South By Southwest (SXSW) Festival and conclude March 22 in Chapel Hill, NC.

Atkins is scheduled to perform her new single, “Maybe Tonight,” during the Jan. 7 broadcast of “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” and the song, which is featured on her debut album “Neptune City,” will be released to Triple A radio on Jan. 14. A video for the track directed by Josh Forbes (The Shins, Cold War Kids, The Submarines) is also slated to be released soon.

Atkins is part of the Barnes & Noble “Discover Music” series which will issue a CD, available exclusively through Barnes & Noble, featuring Atkins’ “Maybe Tonight,” “That’s The Way It Is” and her cover of the Mama’s & the Papa’s “Words of Love.”
