Pennsylvania-based modern-rock quartet The Starting Line is mounting a headlining North American tour of clubs and theaters in support of their new Virgin Records release, “Direction.” The tour kicks off March 18 in State College, PA and finishes up April 20 in Washington, DC. Steel Train, Four Year Strong and Bayside are opening.

“Direction” entered the Billboard Top 200 album sales chart at No. 30, and the first single, “Island,” peaked at No. 21 on the Modern Rock charts and reached Top 10 at several stations throughout the country. The video has also had great exposure on IMF, FUSE, MTV, MTVu and recently spent a few weeks as the #1 most streamed video on MTV2.

“Direction” is the much-anticipated follow-up of The Starting Line’s 2005 Billboard Top 20 album, “Based on a True Story.”
