The tabloids trumpeted the news: Kevin Federline would make his Broadway debut in the stage adaptation of the Reese Witherspoon hit movie, Legally Blonde: The Musical. He’d play three roles, one of them the UPS man (the “bend and snap” routine was perfected for his benefit by Reese’s hairdresser gal-pal in the film). All this according to Us Weekly magazine. But no! No such thing, K-Fed’s publicist says. The rumors are just that, rumors.

He’s been a backup dancer, a rap singer, an actor in “One Tree Hill,” but Broadway darling will have to wait. His biggest claim to fame has been his two-year marriage to Britney Spears, and his biggest joy, even more than an appearance on Broadway, has to be the two children he now has custody of since January with the pop star. He has two more by actress Shar Jackson.

Along the way, K-Fed—his stage name—was a successful fashion model for a line of clothes by the Blue Marlin clothing company out of San Francisco. He made a few appearances as a wrestler on WWE RAW, getting face to face with WWE Champion John Cena. All to promote his album, “Playing with Fire.” After a lot of drama in the ring and out of the ring, he made such a good impression according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there was talk of giving him a regular role on RAW.
