The critically acclaimed UK soul singer Adele will return to this side of the Atlantic for a series of North American concerts in May and June in support of the stateside release of “19.” The album was her #1 UK chart-topping debut that will be available in digital and traditional CD formats on June 10. It has been certified platinum in the UK and has charted Top 10 or better on the Irish Album Chart (#3), the Dutch Album Chart (#4), Billboard’s European Top Albums Chart (#6) and the United World Chart (#8).
Adele’s upcoming concert itinerary marks the artist’s most extensive North American tour to-date, constituting her first round of stateside performances since a highly-successful sold-out four-city tour of New York, Los Angles, Montreal, and Toronto in March. Currently on an SRO tour of Europe, Adele will follow her North American concert dates with another run of European shows including a performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
