Perfectly timed for this political season, Seattle trio The Presidents of the United States (PUSA), currently on a sold-out U.S. headlining tour, have announced a second leg of U.S. dates beginning May 5 in Milwaukee at the Eagle Ballroom. The tour will culminate with a May 25 show at the Sasquatch Festival in George, WA at the Gorge with The Cure, Death Cab For Cutie and Ryan Adams among others. On May 10, PUSA will co-headline the WFNX-Boston Radio show with Death Cab For Cutie at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, MA.
In between the American legs, PUSA will be in Europe beginning this week for shows in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, England and Ireland, and they will return to Europe May 29-June 7.
The group, which includes two original members, is touring behind its just-released album, “These Are The Good Times People.” During the tour, fans can expect a healthy mix of new material and old hits, including sing-along crowed pleasers “Kitty,” “Lump,” “Peaches,” “Back Porch” and “Naked and Famous.”
