Stevie Wonder, who returned to the concert trail last year after a 12-year hiatus, kicks off a summer tour on June 18 in Wantagh, NY, concluding his brief 14-date North American outing on July 12 in Vancouver, BC.
Wonder’s latest album, 2005’s “A Time to Love,” was also his first in a decade. It topped off at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and garnered him five Grammy Award nominations, earning one for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “From the Bottom of My Heart.” He now owns 22 Grammy statuettes.
Some of Wonder’s chestnuts over the years include “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours,” “I Was Made To Love Her,” “My Cherie Amour,” “Living for the City,” “Superstition,” “Boogie on Reggae Woman,” “I Wish,” “Sir Duke” and “Master Blaster (Jammin’).”
