UK rock trio The Subways are releasing their second album for Sire Records on September 9, entitled “All or Nothing,” and have booked a U.S. club tour starting July 25 in New York City. The tour winds down August 3 in San Diego, CA, but more dates are anticipated.
The 12-song album was recorded in Los Angeles last fall by venerable producer Butch Vig (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth) and marks a dynamic sonic progression from their critically embraced 2006 album debut, “Young for Eternity.”
As a live act, The Subways have made their presence known whether it’s a small club in Chicago or the main stages of Reading, Leeds or Glastonbury in the UK. Some of the artists they have opened for include Oasis, Foo Fighters, Paul Weller, Taking Back Sunday, and Angels and Airwaves.
